Overview

The PMC-05 PROIII VCA from Vestax is a professional scratch and battle mixer featuring a 3rd generation PCV crossfader, send and return effects routing, 8-position transform switch, and a more open layout for better performance and user maintenance. The mixer provides 4 stereo inputs (2 x phono, 2 x line), 2 microphone inputs, 2 line outputs, and a stereo effects send and return loop. Each input is equipped with a 2-band EQ (-26 to +6 dB), gain, and balance controls.

The PMC-05 features two customizable and replaceable input switches providing eight positions for optimal transform action. The plastic conductive volume (PVC) crossfader is designed to handle serious abuse, while offering a smooth, accurate operation for cuts, mixes, and scratching. The crossfader reversal switch and curve adjustment further expands the functionality by adding customization for optimum performance. The stereo RCA send and return effects are accessible from the front panel, available to both channels, and may be used with any external effects processor or for chaining several mixers for team sessions.

The CF monitor control and monitor level controls have been placed closer to the top of the mixer, freeing up more battle space around the crossfader section for dynamic moves and expression. The master-cue switch allows for master output listening with crossfader functions through the headphones. The double panel faceplate provides quick access to all faders and input switches for easy maintenance and replacement. The PMC-05 ships with a 15 VDC power adapter.
