The pioneer srt 1000 is as good as it gets for an ultimate serato dj controller. It’s so good pioneer had it replace the now discontinued ddj sx3. I love the fact it has all the on board FX of the DJM-900NXS2 but with a few extra to top it off. Also the dedicated Beat Jump buttons come in so handy when mixing. I love the full sized platters of the cdj 3000 which they also put into this pioneer controller and that makes scratching even easier and way more fun. For the extra flavor it pairs well with a pioneer turntable or two. If the ddj rev 7 just isn’t enough channels for you then the ddj 1000 is the way to go. From a dj starter kit to a professional dj controller it definitely hits all the check boxes and it’s easily on the list of top dj controllers. You may ask, is it the best dj controller for beginners? Well that depends on how far you plan to take your dj career but it definitely gives you room to grow. I rarely use rekordbox dj so I was looking for an alternative to the xdj rx3 and naturally gravitated to the best choice of the pioneer ddj family. Well done Pioneer DJ!
